Exhibition “The Great Patriotic War. Photos and works of artists” in Mexico

April, 23rd in the honor of the Victory Day 9th of May was held the ceremony of the opening of an exhibition “The Great Patriotic War. Photos and works of artists” in the International University “Alliant”. Members of the diplomatic corps, professors and students of the University, representatives of the mass-media were present.

The representative of the Russian Embassy spoke on the topic of a new Conception of national security in Russian Federation. Moreover within the framework of the event a film about the Great Patriotic War “The dawns here are still …” was demonstrated.

Before the demonstration the Russian diplomat highlighted the huge meaning of the 9th of May holiday for the Russian people and for all other nations of the former USSR. He mentioned the enormous losses that lead to the World salvation from fascism.

During the conversations that were after the film demonstration the visitors noted the significant role of the soviet nation in the victory over fascism and thanked the organizators for the possibility to get acquainted with the works of photographers, artists and cinematographers that have shown the cruel face of war and struggle for the liberty of the whole world.
