The Ambassador of Russian Federation in Mexico Valeriy Morozov spoke at a “Parlament of human rights”

The Ambassador of Russian Federation in Mexico Valeriy Morozov spoke at a “Parlament of human rights” – association of Mexican human rights protection organizations. Deputies of General Congress of Mexico representing main political parties although took part in the meeting, which was conducted in Parliament building on September, 25.

V.Morozov told the audience about main trends of foreign policy of Russia and mainly stressed the principles of our country leadership at international scene. The Ambassador although mentioned the latest events at Caucasus and its projection to international relations.

Lots of questions asked to Russian Ambassador are the evidences of the high attention to the new role of our country in the world. Mexican representatives were especially interested in several topics: relations between Russia and western countries at this juncture, our vision of overcoming of global financial crisis, Russian relations with Latin America counties, especially with Cuba and Venezuela. Representatives of Mexican public organizations were interested in information about results of Russian development in socio-economic sphere, particularly in science, culture and education, health protection, house-building, financial and energy spheres, environment protection policy and in the sphere of national minorities rights protection.
