On November, 12th, 2010 in the Mexican city Puebla, which is the largest industrial and cultural center of the country, took place an important event for development of bilateral humanitarian relations, the culture center “Russia – Mexico” was opened. The initiator and the main organizer of its opening ceremony is Orasio Gaspar Lima, active participant of the Russian-Mexican dialog, the graduate of the Russian University of Friendship of People. All the necessary support was rendered by Embassy of Russia in Mexico.
Except a language course it is supposed to organize also lessons of folklore dance, Russian and Mexican cuisine, cutting and sewing, animation, an iconography. During the speech at opening ceremony the representative of embassy has especially underlined that this significant event in Puebla occurs on the eve of a memorial — the 120 anniversaries of an establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries which will be marked on December, 11th. It has expressed confidence that successful work of this center of culture will serve the further strengthening of friendship and humanitarian cooperation.
