THE LECTURE IN THE UNIVERSITY OF AMERICAS
November 17th, 2009 a lecture “The contemporary external policy of Russia” was held by the Embassy of Russia together with Rossotrudnichestvo for the students of the international relations faculty at the University of Americas in Puebla (UDLAP). The speech provoke the interest of the audience – the substantial part of a two-hour meeting took the questions and answers. The future diplomats were interested in different aspects of Russian position on the international arena: evaluation of the Iran’s nuclear program, forms of Russian support of Serbia, prospects of the Russian-Ukrainian gas conflict solution, prospects of cooperation with NATO on the Afghanistan problem, etc.
In the framework of the visit that took place owing to the invitation of the head office of the University, a thorough meeting was held with the management of the International Cooperation and Scientific Policy Department; the questions of the students interchanges agreements with Russian universities in 2010 were discussed.
